Most girls and women I know love to snuggle under a warm blanket on the couch to watch a movie, favorite TV show, or if like me, a Thunder game.

Instead of the usual boring blanket, make a beautiful splash with a mermaid tail blanket!

When I came across Mermaid Tail Blankets, I immediately thought of my cold-natured sister-in-law because she always has a blanket laying on a chair ready for use when watching TV.

I knew she would have fin (I mean fun) covering up under a mermaid tail blanket so I ordered one for her birthday.

If I had granddaughters, the mermaid blankets would definitely go under the Christmas tree!

Sometimes we come across a beauty product that works miracles so we want to share it with everyone! The Wet brush-pro Detangle Hair Brush is such a gift!

I have collected lots of hair brushes over the years. Round ones, big square ones, small ones, brushes with bristles and others with rubber tips.

A brush is a brush is a brush you say. Well… not always.

I only use my Wet brush-pro Detangle Hair Brush to untangle my wet hair. I love how it feels going through my hair so much that I’ve purchased several to give to family and friends.

Why I Gave My Son a Baby Doll

I’m raising a little human. He happens to be a boy.

Playing is learning!

In our culture, many unsaid rules exist about how little humans called “boys” should act. Even more so for “girls.”

At the age of two, I bought my son a little doll, a newborn baby dressed head to toe in pink pajamas. I wanted to give him access to a wide variety of toys, not just those considered “gender appropriate.”

My son will grow up to become a father one day, and every parent needs to know how to nurture and nourish.

We give boys race cars and doctor kits all the time although only a very small percentage of them will actually grow up to become race car drivers and doctors. Compare that to how many boys will one day become fathers.

As soon as I showed my son the pink box containing the doll, he grew excited. He yelled, “Baby!”
