Baby Shark | Singing Plush Toy

- - Christmas, Kids

I first learned the “Baby Shark” song more than 10 years ago at Girl Scout camp as an adult volunteer.

I thought it was adorable with its catchy tune and fun hand motions. Nobody I knew outside of Girl Scouts had even heard of the song.

Now the “Baby Shark” song is EVERYWHERE after it went viral!

“Baby Shark” A Global Sensation

After billions of views on YouTube, it’s safe to say it has become a global sensation!

Kids and adults alike know all the words, and it’s being played at sporting events. My boys and I attended Hot Wheels Monster Trucks LIVE, and they played it there too!

My youngest niece who is turning two years old loves to dance to the Baby Shark song. She can listen to it over and over and over again.

That is why for her birthday I am giving her this adorable Baby Shark Singing Plush Toy! (Also comes in Mommy Shark and Daddy Shark versions.) All she has to do is squeeze it, and she can listen to the song as many times as she wants.

A Private Music Concert | Unique & Thoughtful Gift

When my mother Robyn turned 50 years old, her six children wanted to show her just how much we love her. Our gift needed to leave a mark on her memory as big as the mark she had made in our hearts and lives.

Private Music Concert Meaningful Gift Idea

My mother and grandfather sing and clap along to the music Edgar Cruz plays on his guitar.

Instead of having her children one at a time, our mother pretty much had us all at once. My parents adopted my two brothers (Garry and Kevin), my two sisters (Jeny and Julia) and me so my siblings and I could stay together. A few years later, we added Ochi to our family.

That still blows my mind because I didn’t have Aiden until I was 30. My parents were in their late 20s when they opened their hearts and home to five kids ranging from ages five to 18! God bless them!

My brothers and sisters and I decided to DOUBLE surprise our mother on her birthday.

The Gift of Song | Family Recording Studio Session

When Judy, a co-worker of mine, had her grandchildren visit her, she planned all sorts of events for them to do. One of them was a private recording studio session at my oldest son Dustin’s recording studio. He had just started his home recording studio business at the time.

Dustin hangs out in his recording studio.

Judy’s granddaughters had the time of their life recording in the studio, singing into a mike with headsets on, and making a real CD. They thought it was the coolest experience ever! What a story to tell their friends and family back home. They gave a copy of their newly released CD to their parents who cherished such a unique gift!

The idea of recording a CD led another co-worker, Tiffany, and her family to record Jingle Bells for their grandmother who lived in a different city. Practice began at the studio because there were lots of starts and stops, goofs and giggles, and funny family fodder during the recording session.
