You’ve heard those people who complain about Valentine’s Day. “Valentine’s Day just forces people to buy stuff.” OR “Why do I need a holiday to make me tell someone “I Love You’ on one specific day?” You know what? Those people are absolutely right!

You don’t have to buy someone “stuff” to show your affection for them. You should also find ways to say “I Love You” to your special someone throughout the year, if not every single day.
This year, I’m using Valentine’s Day to kick off a year full of How-much-do-I-love-you-let-me-count-the-ways type of love messages to my husband.
All through the year, I’m going to surprise my husband with love messages that begin with things like:
“I love you because…”
“I know you love me because…”
“I am lucky to have you as my husband because…”
“Aiden is lucky to have you as his father because…”
“Thank you for…”
My husband and I love to make each other laugh so I’m also going to include funny pick-up lines like:
I know milk does a body good, but baby, how much have you been drinking? (A good one to stick to the milk jug!)
I wanna live in your socks so I can be with you every step of the way. (A good one to hide in his sock drawer!)
Hey baby, you must be a light switch, cuz every time I see you, you turn me on! (A good one to stick on a light switch!)
Did you just fart? Because you just blew me away! (A good one to leave on the bathroom mirror! But only if your relationship has advanced to this type of humor.)
Do you have a sunburn, or are you always this hot? (A good one after a day at the pool!)
Did you clean your pants with Windex? I can practically see myself in them. (A good one to stick on the Windex bottle!)
My love for you is like diarrhea, I just can’t hold it in. (A good one to stick on the toilet!)

Here’s a funny pick up line specific for a boyfriend:
Do you know what material this is? Boyfriend material. (A good one to stick on one of his shirts in his closet!)
All you need for your love messages and funny pick up lines are a pen and some Post-it Super Sticky Heart-Shaped Notes.
Surprise him with love messages you’ve hidden in his lunch bag, underwear drawer, wallet, briefcase, and even the inside of his shoe.
But with sticky notes you can leave love messages in all sorts of other places. Stick it on his car windshield. Stick it on a door. Stick it on the shower wall. Stick it on the TV. Stick it on his laptop. Stick it on the fireplace. Even stick it on your body!

Don’t limit romance to just Valentine’s Day.
