A person can be young at heart no matter their age. It’s a feeling, an attitude, and a mindset, and it’s golden when it’s caught on camera!

The sparkle in their eyes and their fun and youthful personality should be celebrated and remembered.

You can do both by giving a photoshoot to someone in their golden years that really lets them shine! It’s an experience they won’t forget because they’ll have print and digital photos to remind them.

Once you’ve gifted them the photoshoot, help the person brainstorm ideas for the theme, location, outfits to wear (or have fun with costumes!), and props to use. Planning it can be as fun as the photoshoot itself!

There’s nothing like going to visit Mimi and Papi!

When I tell my kids I’m taking them to their grandparents house, they whoop and jump around as if I’ve just told them I’m taking them to Disney World.

Grandchildren have a special bond with grandparents that is unique from the parent/child relationship.

My two young boys are lucky to be growing up with their Mimi and Papi living only two miles away. Since the day each of my sons were born, their grandparents have been a huge part of their lives.

They are there for the big moments–holidays, birthday parties, and soccer games. As well as the small moments–learning a new game, trying a new food, or kissing a boo boo to make it feel better.

I know one day my sons will look back on their childhood and realize how much their grandparents influenced the men they became.

When I say my husband loves to fish, I mean he LOVES to catch fish.

Over the years he has collected many fishing rods but there’s a problem.

He has so many that he can no longer store them in the corners of the garage. Sometimes it’s a mess because they get tangled up with the hooks.

Randy had purchased other wall racks only to find they were poorly designed. He continued his search and found an innovative fishing rod storage rack, the Cobra Racks, that fits on the back of the garage door.

My husband, Randy, and I were looking for men’s workwear clothing in Duluth’s Trading Co. when we came across some men’s underwear.

I started reading the names and descriptions of the underwear and started to giggle. The giggle became a laugh and eventually turned into an all-out snort-filled, eyes crying, bent over laughter extravaganza!

My husband just stood there acting like he didn’t know me.

I’ve known my friend Jody’s two boys since the day they were born. I have watched them grow up to become wonderful young men!

I can’t believe her oldest, Austin, is going to be a first-time dad and his brother, Camden, a first-time uncle.

What an exciting times for these young men!

Jody invited me to her future grandbaby’s baby shower and both “Dad” and “Uncle “ were going to be in attendance.

I’ve witnessed throughout their lives how the brothers have always had a close relationship. I wanted to commemorate them both as they experience their new life titles together!
