Mouthwatering Truffle Oil

- - Food & Drinks

The aroma of truffle oil seriously makes my mouth water. I’m in love with it!

A drizzle of truffle oil takes a dish from good to gourmet!

It recently gave my homemade pizza that “Wow!” factor. After it came out of the oven, I drizzled the top with white truffle oil and strawberry fig balsamic reduction.

You should have seen my husband’s face after his first bite. His eyes actually got bigger! The dish really impressed him.

Add a Drizzle of Fancy

I purchased my bottle of truffle oil after I tasted truffle butter for the first time at a fancy steak house. The best way for me to describe the flavor… it made my food taste absolutely sinful!

Now, I’m excited to try truffle oil with other dishes. According to the Williams-Sonoma website, it can be used with grilled meats, fish, pasta, risotto and egg dishes.

Next on my list though are fancy French fries and popcorn.

Next time I make them at home, I’m going to drizzle both with truffle oil and sprinkle a little salt. I just know it will take both foods, which are pretty simple, and make them taste spectacular!

TIP: Truffle oil is considered a finishing oil which means it’s drizzled in small amounts over a dish at the end of preparation. Don’t cook with it!

Truffle oil makes a nice gift for someone who likes to cook since it’s not something most people have in their kitchen. For a thoughtful twist, include a recipe that calls for truffle oil.

Truffle oil tastes absolutely sinful but takes my taste buds to heaven.
