Rocketbook | Smart Reusable Notebook

I had two problems. I wanted to be able to digitize my notes, and I wanted to stop killing trees. I needed a solution.

I’m a person who takes a lot of handwritten notes. I prefer to hand write things because my brain is able to retain the information better. Anyone else like me in that way?

I was speaking at a conference out of state when another speaker shared the perfect solution–The Rocketbook.

Smart, Reusable Notebook

The Rocketbook is a spiral notebook with reusable pages that can be completely erased with a few swipes of a damp cloth. It’s like magic!

It’s also a smart notebook because with the Rocketbook app, you can take a photo (scanning it) of your notes and immediately send it to a specified online folder located on your Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, etc. Or you can email it to yourself.

If you send it to Evernote, it makes your notes searchable!

You do have to use a certain type of pen, a Pilot FriXion pen, which are erasable pens found at any office supply store.

I hadn’t used an erasable pen since junior high and I hated them back then. You had to rub really hard to erase the ink, which messed up the paper. I like using the Pilot FriXion pens because only mild rubbing is necessary, and it doesn’t damage the paper at all.

You can also use any Pilot FriXion marker or highlighter in Rocketbooks.

By the way, the Rocketbook isn’t like a dry-erase board. The ink doesn’t smudge once it dries.

I’ve loved using the Rocketbook from day one! I feel good knowing I’m helping the environment. It also makes the perfect graduation gift.

Tip: If you accidentally write in a Rocketbook with a regular pen like it I did, don’t worry. Rub the ink off using a Magic Eraser.
